Simply put, I love blackjack.
Current System:
- KO
- When I don't want to think, I also use my own invention, a compound win betting strategy. Nearly all online references state that a pure betting strategy provides no advantage to the player. This is incorrect. A player tends to win more often when playing basic strategy on a deck with an advantageous count. A symptom of an advantageous count is winning more hands. If a betting strategy tells the player to bet more when he's winning more often, then he will have a correlated bet to a likely higher count. Of course, this BC achieved does not perform anywhere as well as a card counting system, but it still does achieve some BC which is better than no BC.
Past Systems:
- Hi Opt I w/ BC plays, yet to adjust BS for PE. Usually 1-5 spread. Although, I find it curious that the M.I.T. team was tracking 2's and aces in a hi-lo system without a side count. I may switch to that once I get some good PE/BC statistics, would be slightly easier on the brain.
Books I've Enjoyed on Blackjack:

- "The World's Greatest Blackjack Book" - Lance Humble, Ph.D and Carl Cooper, Ph.D
- "Blackjack for Blood" - Bryce Carlson

Blackjack Software
- I currently use Casino Verite BJ for play, drills, TC/Advantage calculations, RoR calcs, etc. This application is far superior to any other applications I've tried thus far. Drills alone include flashcard, discard tray, counting, full table, chip, and shuffle drills. Amazing.
